Leonard DiCaprio's The Great Gatsby is hitting the top position in the charts after the newly launched Iron Man 3, which was undoubtedly going to be a hit after the massive success of the first two films. $US51.1 million was earned by The Great Gatsby which far exceeds the industry expectation of $30 million.
Robert Downey Jr's Iron man 3 earned $72.5 million in the US domestic market and secured the first place. Leonard DiCaprio is happy with the turnout and expects better results in the future, but DiCaprio it isn't Inception.
